Camelbeach Announces Beneficiaries of Season Long Drive to Raise $50,000 for Charity

TANNERSVILLE, PA – On April 6, 2009 Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark announced its goal to raise $50,000 in support of local charities during the 2009 summer season. Since that announcement, the resort has received nearly sixty applications from non-profit organizations that are tirelessly enriching the community. Today, as it applauds all organizations dedicated to community service, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is proud to announce its selection of the following beneficiaries: Operation Military Kids, The Fine Arts Discovery Series at The Sherman Theater, The Lupus Foundation of Pennsylvania, The Pocono Medical Center, and Women’s Resources of Monroe County.

After a record-breaking winter season, Camelback is looking forward to another fabulous season – only this time in flip flops and board shorts rather than ski boots and long-johns. While the Memorial Day holiday has always signaled the opening of operations at the waterpark, Camelbeach is planning something special this year.
