Drop by the parking lot at Camelback November 12th to celebrate and rally the coming of winter, Ullr style (think vikings). Bring your tailgate essentials; food, beverages, music, and your viking hat. The Loft will providing some cool prizes and we're having our own "Design your sacrificial ski/snowboard" contest where we ask everyone to grab some popsicle sticks/tongue depressors and decorate them only to be thrown in our ski burning bonfire during Ullr Fest! December 18 - World Snowboard Day- Camelback is celebrating World Snowboard Day by promoting our $29 Early Season Learn to Snowboard Package. Spaces are limited so be sure to secure your spot, click here to book now. We will also hold a photo shoot on a select feature on Turkey Trot from 12:00- 1:00 pm to celebrate World Snowboard Day. December 24 - Skiing Santas — Show up dressed up as Santa, Mrs.Claus, an elf, or a reindeer and pay only $5 for an open to close lift ticket! All proceeds from the discounted ticket will go to Big Brother Big Sister of the Bridge in Monroe County. Head to Guest Services 8:30 -11:00 am in your costume to purchase your $5 ticket. There will also be a group photo of all the santas and winter characters at 12:00 PM at the base area. Participants must be dressed in full costume to receive the special priced lift ticket. No paper costumes are allowed. Guest Services will make the final decision on whether or not the costume is ticket worthy. Give holiday cheer while giving back to the community this winter! January 7 & 8 - Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series Slalom & Giant Slalom - $25 per event ($20 if you register online) for USASA members plus $25 lift ticket for non-passholders. Registration is 8:00 - 9:00 AM in the Valley View Room. Course inspection/ practice 9:00- 10:00 AM followed by a mandatory riders meeting at the top of the course at 10:15 AM. February 11- Diana Golden Adaptive Race - Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports invites all disabled skiers and riders to participate in the Diana Golden Race Series at Camelback Mountain. Level I racing allows any disabled athlete interested in racing to become familiar with the sport in a fun environment. The Giant Slalom course is set for entry level racers. Racers can compete in the Diana Golden Division, for athletes with physical disabilities. Diana Golden Division athletes will compete in one of three categories: Visually Impaired, Sitting, or Standing. Helmets are mandatory for all athletes. Back to the top

February 11- Breast Cancer Awareness Day- Camelback is proud to show support for Boarding for Breast 'B4BC' by raising awareness and promoting early detection & active lifestyle. Come join us paint the slopes pink by dressing in anything and everything pink! We will be raffling off prizes throughout the day and for the grand finale we will auction off some of our best ski and snowboard instructors for private lessons to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. March 3 - Mt. Dew Vertical Challenge - The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race Series is a free race open to all ages and abilities. Skiers and snowboarders are divided by gender and age group to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals in each category. Winners qualify for a chance to race in the event finals at the end of the season. Raffles and prizes will also be given out throughout the day.
Race Registration Opens at 8:00 am
The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race starts at 11:00 am

Events to be held throuought the day:
- Up and Down Race at 9:00 am
-Telemark Clinics at 11:00am. Several instructors will be on hand for those that would like to learn how to telemark ski. There will also be advanced clinics for those who want to improve their skills.
- Demo tents will be set up in the Base Area for guests to try some of the newest Telemark equipment
-Tele Ski Scavenger Hunt around around the mountain begining at 2:00pm

March 17- St. Patty's Scavenger Hunt- On St. Patrick's Day Camelback will host its first annual scavenger hunt. There will be strategicaly placed shamrocks hidden all over the mountain. March 24& 25 - Parking Lot Party- Camelback will host its 3rd annual parking lot party. Hang out with friends at CBK Lodge parking lot and be front row for the Pondskimming event.
Prizes will be awarded to the following:
*Best Overall Tailgate
*Best Theme and Decorations
* Fan Favorite (One vote per site)
Here is a list of some guidelines to, so you can better prepare.
-Grills, contained fires, pop-up tents, and music are all permitted.
-RV's are welcome (Spots are normal sized parking spaces. Please do not empty your RV sewage on Camelback Property)
- The individual must call to make the reservation. There is a two space maximum for each guest. (Spaces are first come first served; other guests cannot be moved to accomodate another party.) Leaving a voicemail with a requested spot will not be guarenteed.
-Check- in will begin at CBK Lodge at 7:15 am.
- All guests must drop off tailgating items or have their vehicles in their designated spots by 9:30am. After 9:30, no vehicles will be permitted in to the parking lot for
-Tailgaters cannot use the areas in yellow on the map due to safety concerns
-No stakes in the ground will be permitted(sandbags or weights are suggested to secure tents)
- This is a dog friendly event, but all dogs must be on a leash at all times.
-NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED!

March 24- Pond Skimming - Join us for our 6th annual Pond Skimming competition.Participants 16 years and older will attempt to ski or snowboard across a 100 foot pond at the bottom of Sunbowl. Awards will be given out for most original costume, best in show, and best dismount. Registration will be 10:00 - 11:30 am at the group sales desk at the CBK Lodge. The event will begin at 1:00 pm. March 25- Cardboard Box Derby- Race your cardboard chariots down our Sunbowl chutes during our 5th annual Cardboard Box Derby.
- There can be up to 4 participants on each team
-Teams must register between 10:00 am- 12:00 pm at the CBK Group Sales desk
- Every participant is required to sign a release of liability
- Must be at least 12 years old to participate (Under 18 must have parent signature)
- Cardboard vehicles must be built from cardboard,tape,glue, and paper. If other materials are used vehicles will be disqualified. No industrial pressed cardboard, plastic, wood, staples, rope or wire are allowed!
- Vehicle must have front,rear, bottom, and two sides.
- No waxing the bottom of the vehicle!
- Any Camelback representative that deems a vehicle unsafe has the authority to disqualify a team.
- All participants must cross the finish line with vehicle in order to qualify for prizes.

March 31- Gaper Day/Rail Jam- Dust off your neon 80's snow gear because Gaper Day is here! Camelback will be taking it to the max with a DJ all day on the Bistro deck and a Gaper Rail Jam on Lower Moores.
Registration for Rail Jam: At CBK Lodge. $10 registration fee plus lift ticket or season pass (park pass is required). Registration ends at 12:00 pm
Open Jam Format: Snowboard Men/Women, Skier Men/Women
