The event, named Nike/The Chosen, is a grass roots snowboarding and free ski rail jam that is hitting seven stops in the United States; Camelback is the third stop on the three-month tour, but the only stop on the East Coast. There is a $3,000 purse for the top competitors as well as Nike swag.
The 100, invited competitors, will be riding and skiing under a professionally lighted rail jam. This is your chance to live like a pro….there will be $20,000 in professional lights under the snow and above the jam, smoke machines…we’re pulling out all the stops for this Eastern-Only stop! This amazing event is going to give the everyday rider the chance to live like a pro for the night!
Even if you aren’t competing—come out to “witness this show”. This event will take place on Sunbowl (easily accessible to non-skiers).
If you think you have the stuff to compete, email asinor@skicamelback.com for a chance to receive an invitation. Send us some proof of your skills---videos, awards, etc. All competitors must be 18 years and older and wear a helmet. (If you don’t have a helmet, you can rent one for the day from our rental shop).
