A film crew from ESPN joined Bramble to document the excitement and profile his dynamic personality as part of their coverage for the upcoming X-games.

“The reason I asked ESPN to join me at Camelback is because I skied there as a kid and remember it being the best in the Pocono Mountains.  Camelback was gracious to accommodate my pre X-game training regiment and the staff at Camelback was world class in going out of their way to help as much as possible” commented Bramble.

Bramble is more than just a world-class athlete, he also operates his own business, Kevin Bramble Goodz (KGB), through which he designs and manufactures high-performance monoskis.  Currently, a majority of the current U.S. Disabled Ski Team monoskiers ski in KGB monoskis.

Bramble is credited for being one of the first athletes to take the monoski into terrain parks and halfpipes.  His talent and contagious enthusiasm caught the eye of legendary filmmaker, Warren Miller, who invited Bramble to join him in Alaska and featured Bramble’s pioneering big-mountain sit ski lines in the 2006 movie, Off the Grid.

“Obviously, it was a pleasure to host ESPN and Kevin at Camelback,” says Jerry Lawlor, VP of Marketing and Sales at Camelback Mountain Resort.  “Anytime a world-class athlete chooses to train at your facility it validates all the hard work that the staff invests in delivering top-notch conditions.” Lawlor, continued, “For the past decade, Camelback has been the proud host of the Pennsylvania Adaptive Ski Center.  Kevin’s accomplishments are a great inspiration for all the athletes and volunteers committed to this fantastic program, right here at Camelback.  We all wish Kevin great success in Aspen and look forward to seeing him bring home the gold.”

Bramble’s attempt to win gold in the Mono Skier-Cross will air on the ESPN networks on Sunday, January 25, 2009.  Footage from Kevin’s visit to Camelback Mountain Resort is scheduled to be part of ESPN’s broadcast.
