Camelback is the only COMPLETE Burton Learn to Ride resort in Pennsylvania! 
We have partnered with Burton Snowboards, and the “American Association of Snowboard Instructors” to bring you the best in equipment, teaching and programs that are designed to help you shred with confidence and control in every mountain experience.  Burton's Learn to Ride programs incorporate the right equipment with proven teaching methods to make learning to snowboard easy and fun for everyone. Women LTR (Learn to Ride): Whoever said women and men are the same, must not have tried snowboarding. BURTON’S LTR Women’s Program addresses these differences in very specific ways: female instructors provide greater knowledge and understanding. All female classes give supportive environments for the learning experience, and since a woman is built different, BURTON’S equipment for women is too. Kids LTR (Learn to Ride): There has never been a better time to take your “lil one” snowboarding. BURTON has designed boards and bindings that are built specifically for children of all ages.  With the 80 cm “Super Mini” snowboard our instructors can have your child sliding snow in a private lesson at as young as 3yrs old (group lessons available starting at the age of six).  The Camelback Kids Center will surely set the foundation of snowboarding, so young riders want to ride snow every chance they get.  Our animated terrain has a fun and interactive setting that helps to build skills starting with their first day on snow. Adult LTR (Learn to Ride): BURTON LTR (Learn to Ride) Programs have revolutionized the way a rider gains new abilities. Using newly designed equipment, specially trained instructors, and carefully chosen terrain, students at any level of experience will see improvement, both in skill and enjoyment. Freestyle LTR (Learn o Ride): Camelback Mountain Resort has made a bold statement in Freestyle riding.  Our Freestyle LTR program is the perfect way to start your path to all mountain riding.  If you are eager to learn the basics of switch riding, sliding rails or launching jumps, then just ask for a lesson with one of our stellar freestyle coaches!  The Camelback Mountain School may be your next step to get to a national ranking!  Ask your coach about CMS.  Click here for information on rates.

Progression LTR (Learn o Ride): At Camelback Mountain Resort we are excited to continue to build and expand our Burton Progression Park this season.    The CMR Park Crew combines their knowledge with Burton Progression Ideals and signage that create an environment for you to learn freestyle in a controlled, low pressure setting.  The Burton Progression Park, located at the bottom of our Bailey trail, consists of smaller rails and features for our snowboard school instructors to teach eager freestyle riders the fundamentals they need to learn to ride parks and pipes at our resort. Lesson Packages available, Include a Lift Ticket, Lesson(s), Equipment Rental.

To help support that program, we have added 250 new Burton Snowboards, including a range of LTR boards, women's LTR boards, boots, and Stiletto bindings, as well as freestyle LTR setups. 
Camelback has also created the New Discovery Rental Shop, this new rental shop caters to beginners and first time riders.
If you are looking at purchasing a Learn to Ride package on your next visit to Camelback, you may want to purchase your rentals online prior to your visit to save time.  Both of our new rental shops are going paperless as well.  We will be processing all of our rentals in the The Salomon Burton Rental Shop and New Discovery Rental Shop electronically.  After your first visit as a rental guest at Camelback Mountain Resort your will become a preferred rental guest for your next visit to Camelback.  This will allow you to proceed right to the boot station in either rental shop after your purchase your tickets and equipment at our Main ticket windows, windows on through 11.
