Camelback Mountain is home to a unique, custom, neon-painted park, Neon Terrain Park. Professional graffiti artists of UR New York created the park murals and artwork to represent the culture of the freestyle ski & ride community. Neon Terrain Park spans across five trails - Oak Grove, Upper Moore's, Lower Moore's, Dromedary and Turkey Trot - and each trail is loaded with features that will challenge you but never intimidate. We build and set features that 99% of skiers and riders can shred, so everyone can improve their skills and experience freestyle culture. A Park Pass is not required for entry. You can hang out all day and session the 5 trails of features as many times as you want to perfect your ski and snowboarding moves. Just remember to SMART Style it every time you drop in! Watch some of the below videos to see the creation of our Neon Terrain Park, and enjoy our clip from the Nike Chosen Tour! Their only east coast stop was in PA at Camelback Mountain's very own Neon Terrain Park. Be one of the 99% and come out to experience terrain park sessions the way they were meant to be.
The National Ski Areas Association and Burton Snowboards would like to welcome you to the "Smart Style" Terrain Park Safety initiative. A cooperative effort with the help of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) that emphasizes the proper use of terrain parks while delivering a unified message.
1. MAKE A PLAN: Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
2. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP: Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
3. EASY STYLE IT: Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended.)
4. RESPECT GETS RESPECT: From the lift line through the park.
