Camelback Mountain is home to a unique, custom-painted Neon Terrain Park. Professional graffiti artists, Mike Baca and Fernando Romero of UR New York, created the murals, artwork and design of our Terrain Park to represent the sound of the freestyle culture. The Graffiti Terrain Park consists of five trails - Oak Grove, Upper Moore's, Lower Moore's, Dromedary and Turkey Trot - and is host to a variety of in-park events. Camelback Mountain embodies a combination of art, and culture through the Graffiti Terrain Park, offering those who enjoy skiing and snowboarding in PA. Check out our videos of the Nike Chosen Tour and the making of our NeonTerrain Park.
The National Ski Areas Association and Burton Snowboards would like to welcome you to the "Smart Style" Terrain Park Safety initiative. A cooperative effort with the help of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) that emphasizes the proper use of terrain parks while delivering a unified message.
1. MAKE A PLAN: Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
2. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP: Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
3. EASY STYLE IT: Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended.)
4. RESPECT GETS RESPECT: From the lift line through the park.
